Aparthotels

Home Away From Home

The Aparthotel sector is one of the fastest growing areas within the accommodation industry, proving a popular choice for both business & leisure travellers alike and rapidly gaining market share from hotels and resorts.

The definition of what constitutes an aparthotel is vague and open to interpretation. To most people it means a self-contained apartment, which might be a studio or have a number of bedrooms, and offers short-let stays, with a lower level of service than a hotel.

Whilst aparthotels do not have facilities such as bars/restaurants and reception areas, the units are generally larger than hotels, often offering cooking facilities, writing desks and flat-screen TVs.

Aparthotels and serviced apartments in the UK vary hugely in quality, size & style – with a mix of modern operating systems alongside more antiquated operations. While in London and other major cities, the product has moved up-market in terms of quality and appearance, it’s clear that in other parts of the country, the standards tend to be far lower, reflecting the lack of investment and professional management that the brand chains, for example, offer.

We are developing multiple St David aparthotels in various locations throughout the UK, bringing the ‘boutique’ St David brand of quality accommodation and service to the sector. These include ‘hot spots’ such as Barrow-in-Furness, major business centres such as Manchester and Birmingham and popular tourist locations such as Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.
Character buildings, quality interiors and everything a guest needs sum up our aparthotels. Simply put, ‘a home away from home’ for our guests.

We place great emphasis on maintaining our reputation for integrity and building long-term relationships with everyone associated with us. This will continue to be our approach with we everything we do.
